I had tried notion about 6 months ago, but it wasn't my style and I can't remember a lot about it right now. You need something that just works without you having to constantly stop and correct the misunderstanding of the pen to text technology, which is present in Nebo from time to time, and I found Nebo to be the second best handwriting tech recognition on android behind Samsung Notes. It doesn't have as many fancy pens for fancy letter art like squid, but you won't have time to use all that in your note taking when professors are talking fast. It also has the lowest entry point for cost of everything out there, and can do pretty much what the others do.
Tab notes app for windows apk#
There is an APK you can download and install on any Windows machine, and from then on it will update from the Windows Store and work on your Windows machine. Samsung Notes does everything you requested. Shapes, however, are a little slow on transforms from hand-drawn to actual shape, and squid does a better job, but squid doesn't convert handwriting (why I don't use squid.) I love the math solving ability where you can write an equation and get an answer. It also does a beautiful job on shapes as well as diagrams and equations. I haven't tried notion.Īs far as the 2 I have tried that you mentioned, only Nebo does handwriting to text.
Tab notes app for windows manual#
Nebo does a good job, but often will put two words together or incorrectly interpret something and you have to do a lot of manual correction. When it comes to handwriting to text, Squid doesn't do it.

however for nebo i dont wanna pay before im 100% sure so if anyone has any first hand experience with these apps would appreciate if you could share!! I have tried squid, and will try Notion later on. I'm currently looking at squid, nebo, notion. I've tried onenote and I don't think it's v apt for a handwritten note taking imo but it does have v good sync. diverse customisations is a good but optional plus as well! The basic requirements: -able to write w the s-pen (s-pen button support is a good but optional plus!) -able to have simple shape format (eg square triangle circles etc so i don't have to draw diagrams freehand, im taking an engineering major thats why diagrams would most probably be a common thing in my course) -able to sync across my android phone + windows desktop, or minimally upload to Google drive, etc to be able to be viewed on my other devices anyone has good note taking apps to recommend. HI! I just bought the galaxy tab s6 lite for my studies and am intending to make handwritten notes + handwritten-to-text notes on it.
